Merit-Based Grants

Grant Recipients

In our commitment to the wounded veterans who’ve sacrificed so much to keep us free, we offer the Sentinels of Freedom Merit-Based Grant. This one-time monetary award of $1,000 helps “fill the gaps” in education costs not covered by the GI Bill. The grant may be used for educational purposes including books, computers, and tutoring expenses.

To qualify for the grant, recipients must have a VA disability rating of 30% or higher and have been wounded or injured in a combat or training related event post 9/11.

Contact us at info@sentinelsoffreedom.org to learn more or donate now.

DEADLINES:

There are two primary deadlines to receive grants: April 1 and September 1. Please note: Veterans who are already a part of the Sentinel’s Bridge to Education program are not eligible for Merit-Based Grants.
